Michael Bear Hawk is the creator of the Rainbow Warrior Academy. He was taught, trained and adopted by a half Hopi half Apache Native American Shaman.
The most important thing that he learned from his Grandfather is that who you are is not based on your blood line. That blood lines have been used as a way of dividing and conquering us. From those that wish to control us. The Old Ways do not recognize this type of separation. If you ask a Lakota Indian, they will say we are all one or”Mitakye Oyasin”.
If you ask a DNA scientist they will tell you that we all have the same Mitochondrial DNA. Another way of saying this is that we all have the same biological beginning. This means that we are indeed all one, as the Lakota’s say! Another key Michael Bear Hawk learned, was that what matters is the condition of a person’s heart. Does he or she follow the people of the “I”, which means their base programming or behavior is: “What’s in it for me”? Or does someone follow the ways of the People of the “We”. The “We” people follow what their hearts tell them, not their mind or the rules. These people live lives of love, fire, passion or self empowerment.
Again who a person really is, is not based on their blood line. It is based on the energy that a person’s heart is vibrating. Michael Bear Hawk teaches the way of the Rainbow Warriors. This way is based on a Native American prophecy which says: There will come a time when the earth grows sick and when it does, a tribe will gather from all the cultures of the world who believe in deeds and not words. They will work together to heal it…they will be known as the “Warriors of the Rainbow”.
Because of this prophecy, Michael Bear Hawk does not connect himself with any tribal affiliation. But he believes that we are all one and that we all came here to Turtle Island from the Stars to dance, play and love and that one day we will all return home to the Stars.
